Celebrating 170 years!πŸŽ‰

Reaching the milestone of 170 years in business is a huge achievement for all involved with Loxleys. It is a testament to our incredible workforce (past and present) and adaptability to the needs of our industry. To celebrate this year's anniversary, we expressed our appreciation for our hard-working staff, with a day full of Birthday fun, surprises, and an impressive amount of cake!

Employee Raffle

To start of the Birthday celebrations we held an employee raffle with prizes kindly donated by our long standing suppliers Fedrigoni, EBB, PLG and Die Set Formes LTD. Loxleys 70+ employees, across all roles in the factory and the office, were entered for the chance to win. Prizes included a Β£170 shopping voucher, M&S afternoon tea hamper, Hotel Chocolat gift sets, a selection of wines and a highly sought after extra day off!

A special thanks to our suppliers who contributed to the incredible line up of prizes!

Chippy tea!

As a special treat to all employees we arranged lunch on Loxleys! Local fish + chip caterers Smiths visited the Loxleys site and offered a warm lunch of freshly made chips, sides and sauces.

It was a huge success and the team were all really impressed with the quality of food and service. The lunch was a great opportunity for employees to spend time together, catch up and celebrate across different departments.

Thank you to Smiths Fish + Chips for your amazing service and delicious food. We hope to see you again soon!

Birthday Bake off

Why celebrate with one Birthday cake when you can have 8! Our board of directors headed up by Paul (not Hollywood!) did just that as our official Birthday bake off judges, awarding points for skill, taste and appearance.

The final line up included blueberry muffins, ginger cake, banoffee cheesecake and lemon drizzle(s) baked by Loxleys employees. The winner and runner up took home a cash prize and the cakes we’re distributed between the Loxleys team, to enjoy during their afternoon tea break, which went down a treat!

Thanks to everyone who got involved and supported our Birthday celebrations this year, we look forward to sharing many more to come!
